Cast Bronze arms break through the library wall thrusting a book out into the outside world symbolizing the power of reading and knowledge. Water spill from the book as information into the river of one’s life. A river rock lined bed containing numerous cast bronze creatures (for kids to explore) carries the water through a series of ripples, eddies and pools where it disappears into a bronze ear (conversation, listening and communication coming from book- knowledge.) A bronze beave busily chews on a stick beside the metaphorical river.
